Amy Brenneman is more of a mainstream actress, having starred in TV shows such as Private Practice and Judging Amy.

But you've not seen Neverwhere based on Neil Gaiman's novel? It's a BBC classic, with Paterson Joseph starring as the Marquis de Carabas. The crazy thing is that when I saw the film of Titus Andronicus starring Anthony Hopkins and Jessica Lange, I kept looking at the actress playing Lavinia, Laura Fraser, and finally remember why she seemed so familiar: she'd played Door in Neverwhere! Peter Capaldi was the Angel of Islington in Neverwhere.

We get a number of HBO and Showtime programmes on either basic Sky/cable channels or freeview, such as Channel 4 or the Beeb. I sometimes forget that they are premium channels in North America. I never paid extra for them there myself.
