Fwd: THers in anthology

Hi guys!

I am sure most of you have already seen this one way or another, but it occurred to me that I hadn't actually posted about it here, so I am going to.

I am currently midway through crowdfunding an anthology of Fantasy Noir Stories. It is called "Fae Fatales: A Fantasy Noir Anthology", and it is AWESOME.

It contains ten stories, and two of them are by THers. One by me and one by Everett.

Go and have a look. We're only just shy of our target right now, and I think it'll be somethign several of you would enjoy.

Jax

FW: Reminder: Immigration Reform Strategy Meeting Thursday

IMMIGRATION PLANNING MEETING

Dear Colleague,

Thank you so much for joining us at the Chelsea Collaborative in our conversation on "The State of Immigrants Rights in Massachusetts" and the Fight for a Real Immigration Reform. The meeting was extremely successful.  We began to have the conversation about how to move forward the fight for a real immigration reform.

Now is time to meet again  and define what our focus should be and how can we effectively push a progressive agenda for immigrant rights in Massachusetts in a coordinated way. This does not mean that we are all going to agree on everything but at least we should identify 2 or 3 areas where we may coordinate efforts in the upcoming months, understanding that there are so many of you doing an incredible amount of work already.

Please join us for a follow-up meeting at the Chelsea Collaborative, 318 Broadway Chelsea MA 02150 on Thursday March 28 at 10:00AM.

 Please RSVP by at gladysv@chelseacollab.org

URGENT - Help Stop the Deportation of Felipe from Massachusetts - Call ICE Burlington Office

Sign the petition here:

http://act.presente.org/act/FelipeMontes

Edwin

Via Student Immigrant Movement:

·         URGENT! Felipe Montes fought a hard battle to be reunited with his three children who were placed in foster care after he was deported in 2010. He was able to come back and win custody but now he could be deported as soon as tomorrow! Please call the ICE Burlington Office and ask that Felipe be given the chance to stay with his family.

Call (781) 359-7500 press 4#
·
Please grant Felipe Montes (A#200-717-730) an Extension on Humanitarian Parole. He has lived in the U.S. for over 7 years and is married to a U.S. citizen with 3 U.S. citizen children, who only know this country as home.
·
Felipe was granted custody of his children this year after they were put into foster care when he was deported in December of 2010. Forcing his children to relocate and separate from family in the U.S. would cause even further trauma. Please keep this family together and stop Felipe's deportation.
