If this is a Netflix download, be sure you can get it with subtitles.
The only non-Norwegian dialog was the bit with the Polish painters.

Then again, maybe you and Lucy know Norwegian. I wouldn't be surprised
if that was another bit of magic y'all pulled out of a hat.

It'd make an excellent Halloween movie.

Well, I should hope to smile and kiss a pig! It's on Netflix. I should see if Lucy has seen it.

It'd make an excellent Halloween movie.

I've also got Thale on tap and I'm hoping to watch it this weekend.
It's another Norwegian-folklore movie. I *think* I heard about it here
on TH, but I'm not sure. It's supposed to be very good and fairly dark.

Thanks for this!

From what we're hearing over here on the media, there's a bit of fear regarding ebola in the US. (We've been watching Jon Stewart trying to calm down people also. What would we do without shows like his? :)

Ellen, who bought a pumpkin for 99p yesterday! Yay!

Top Ten Reasons to Fear Fall Foliage More Than Ebola

As casualties rise from hay rides and fall foliage tours across the country, here are Maryann's:

TOP TEN REASONS TO FEAR FALL FOLIAGE MORE THAN EBOLA

10. It creeps across the border from Canada.
9. No vaccine, no cure. But there will be releaf.
8. Avoids coverage by Fox News because it doesn't sound like Obama.
7. Once one leaf falls, many more are sure to follow.
6. South Africa gets fall foliage in the spring. That's weird.
5. Leaves come from trees. Trees come from acorns. Acorns come from trees. Where is Patient Zero?
4. Fall foliage leads to pumpkins, which lead to pumpkin coaches, which lead to crashed parties and heartache.
3. Fall foliage is free for everyone. That's communist! And what color is it? Red!
2. They tried to appoint a fall foliage czar, but everyone said, "Cider? Yes please!"

And the number one reason to fear fall foliage more than Ebola:

1. "Leaf peepers".
