FW: NEXT Just Communities Meeting: OCTOBER 4th

We hope that you are all doing well. We want to let you know that finally we are going to have the NEXT Just Communities Meeting. The meeting will take place on OCTOBER 4th at 6:00 p.m. at Centro Presente. 

Centro Presente, is going to present INFORMATION about S-Comm cases of immigrant families that are being affected by the program. We are ready to launch a public campaign with these families and activate the system that will help MONITOR the implementation of the controversial ‘Secure Communities’ program and detect human rights violations of immigrants.   

We are also going to talk about a training opportunity regarding the campaign for The TRUST Act in California that is being organized by Centro Presente, the National Day Labor Organizing Network (NDLON), and the Asian Law Caucus.
