I've never tried an audio book. I'm not sure I'd like it, given that
I tend to not even turn on my stereo when I'm at home because I prefer
the quiet...or as quiet as it gets when I have three cats, a dog, and
crinkly paper on the floor....

I have been getting a lot more use out of my Kindle since I figured
out how to download fan fiction onto it. In preparation for my trip
in a couple of weeks, I have also loaded it with about a bazillion
books from Project Gutenberg. I rarely buy books for it, though; if I
have to spend as much for an e-book as for a physical book, then I'm
gosh darn well getting the physical book.
