Re: Fantasy/sf TV shows Re: past discussions

I'm watching Lost Girl (mid-way through first season), Once Upon a Time,
Fringe, and Warehouse 13. Lost Girl is quite good; I'm sorry to hear it
goes down hill. I've got Grimm on tivo, but haven't started watching it
yet.

Once is pretty good, but I really feel it's a one-season show that's going
to go for four or five seasons. There are good bits, and I like how the
episodes are constructed. There are also annoying bits, and logic problems
that suspend my suspension of disbelief. And the boy -- the pivotal element
of things -- really, really annoying.

There are also a couple shows from several years ago that each met an untimely
demise. There was a sixish episode fantasy show called Krod Mandoon and the
Flaming Sword of Fire. Lotta fun; the entendres weren't double, and were
barely even single, so be forewarned if that's likely to offend.

Then there's The Middleman. Oh, that's one I lament having been cancelled,
almost as much as I lament the loss of Firefly. It got 12 or 13 episodes
and should have had about 50 more.

Nope, me either. It's on one of those HBOwetime pay channels I don't
subscribe to.
