You're welcome. I wish you'd let me know before you set up the
account though, because Fastmail gives both people a discount if
you sign up using a referal.

That's odd. Gmail's spam filters are actually among the best
where detecting spam is concerned. A lot of people use gmail
accounts, and even run their other mail through gmail, for that
reason. I'm uninpressed with gmail for other reasons. For one,
it is a pain in the butt to have gmail refuse to download mail
via POP every time I use my laptop in a different location.
Having to log into each account via the website at each location
turns travelling into a big annoyance.
