Book Recommendations out of the distant TH archives

Way way back, in the annals of Tamson House history, from a time when dragons roamed and rooms shifted, there came a great cry from the House: "What shall we read?!" And lo, did the gracious residents of the House offer up many delectable morsels of text, each unto the other, that all may enjoy.  And lo, did one enterprising resident, whose name has been lost to the ravages of time, take it upon his or herself to gather together these literary offerings, and as like a wise and wonderful librarian, organize them, and list them, each with their like fellows, that all who sought may be spared the arduous task of winnowing these precious "book recommendations" from among the many many many many other words offered up by the denizens of House, like wheat from chaff, for this was back in the dark days before the Web was graced by the light of The Google.  And lo, has this humble scholar, engaged in idle perusal through the many pages and papers and scraps of parchment with which her abode is littered, unearthed this precious document from among those lesser texts of bank statements and grocery receipts and undergraduate homework, and with great rejoicing, now offers it up to the current denizens of the House - those few who remain from those early days of glory, that they may read and remember, and those friends who have since come to dwell amongst us, that they too may partake in the wisdom of the ages.  For what once was lost, has now been found, and that which slumberest, has been awakened, somewhat worn and stained with soda, but still legible and relevant as the day in which it was printed.

In other words, I found this in a box full of old papers.  Enjoy!

and roots, and nuts, and wild things,
and rustlings in the midnight wood,
half-mad, like Myrddin, wandering.
