I hope you like it!  I know that Bethy (used to be TH -- don't think she's still here) also really liked it a lot.

It's very much a fairy tale with lots of mythic fantasy elements.  I devoured it. There's a very positive review on Tor.com.

Thank you, Ellen.  It's now on my Kindle, on your recommendation.  Not
sure when I'll have a chance to start reading it, though.  At the
moment, I'm back in Bordertown, and also in the middle of the first
volume of Theodore Sturgeon's collected short stories, and also there
are magazines in my pile of mail.
