I honestly don't remember him from Six Feet Under, although that may change after I see the new show, and I've never seen Parks and Recreation, although I've heard good things about it. I think it's been aired on BBC4, but it was at a bad time/day for me. I'll have to see if I can get it from Lovefilm. I've looked him up, and he's not familiar to me; I haven't seen many of the things he's been in or I don't recall his character.

The show premieres here tomorrow night, but we'll have to record it as we're going to a NTLive Simulcast, although the play's not at the National Theatre, it's at the Young Vic -- a small theatre that sells out quickly. This run of A Streetcar Named Desire (with Gillian Anderson as Blanche) sold out faster than usual for the Young Vic. It's been earning all four and five star reviews from the national papers. We weren't able to get tickets for our students (the second year lit students have coursework that includes Streetcar) at the theatre, and the main cinema nearby airing the simulcast sold out fast. Plus, it's so early in the year (the second year students only started classes last week) that we didn't have time to find out numbers, book tickets etc. That cinema is having an encore next Tuesday at noon -- with lots of tickets left, so we're trying to arrange a college trip to it. But Ian and I are going tomorrow night. I rather like the simulcasts.
They're much less expensive than buying theatre tickets and the commute is a lot easier/cheaper for those of us who don't live in London. Also, you get close-ups, overhead shots etc. -- things you wouldn't get at the theatre. Squee!

Anyway, I liked Amy Brenneman in Private Practice and Judging Amy, enjoyed Chris Eccleston's performance as Dr. Who (the show is a national treasure here; watching it is tradition) and I love Paterson Joseph full stop. The Leftovers shall be recorded. :)
