Just finished New Earth by Ben Bova and The Long Earth by Terry Pratchett & Stephen Baxter. New Earth was a fun read for pure sci-fi read though somewhat underwhelming. Nothing super earth-shattering. I have mixed feelings over The Long Earth. It was sorta okay, but I do't know that I'll go out of my way to read on through the next 2 books (not unless someone gives me a good reason to that is.)
Currently reading:Existance by David Brin (for what I hope is a more satisfying sci-fi experience, though I'm not a huge Brin fan any more. I think he's gotten a little too holier than thou. I need another Arthur C. Clarke.)
Caliban's War by James S.A. Corey ('cause I really want to see what happens next with the crew of the Rocinante.)
Promise of Blood by Brian McClellan ( was waiting for D.B. Jackson's newest, had finished Michael Stackpole's At the Queen's Command and Of Limited Loyalty and needed something along the same lines.)
Unnatural History by Jonathan Green ( to break in my new Kindle.)
Best read so far this year: Black Feathers & The Book of the Crowman by Joseph D'Lacey.
