I've temporarily put aside a LibraryThing win (Starter House--a good
haunted house novel) to read The King in Yellow. I've only owned the
damn book for 15 years (actually it's probably longer). But True
Detective is prompting me to pick it up. I had read a few of the stories
in it in other collections. But now I have a list of new books to read
thanks to the show. And I've got to get my butt in gear and finish
Discovery of Witches and Shadow of Night because I promised two of my
friends I'd go to Deborah Harkness's signing in July for her new book. I
can't very well not have read the first two books by then. Especially
since I work for her publisher.

And I'm getting read to get in the galleys for the third Fillory novel
by Lev Grossman. I've read most of it and it's really good.

And the manuscript for Dan Jones's new book is in.

And we're doing The Penguin Book of Witches, which I should be getting
next week. It's nonfiction, edited by Katherine Howe, author of The
Physick Book of Deliverance Dane (which I just finished).

And the Y in our Drop Cap series is Yeats.

Just in case you all needed to add to your book reading/shopping lists.
