esoteric question... really esoteric

I just watched the "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" episode of Torchwood. Gwen was
wearing a t-shirt that had five drawings of faces. What/who were those faces?

I don't know why, but I have a feeling it was Faces. I'm really not sure,
though, and I can't say why I think it's them?
