I hope I'm not overstepping boundaries, but I think there are folks here
who'd want to know this. Suzi Skutley's daughter posted this on Suzi's
Facebook page:

In January, my Mom had swelling under her right arm that turned out to
be Melanoma cancer. Since then, the cancer has spread to lymph nodes
throughout her body and her organs. Recently, her health took a turn
for the worst and tonight she decided that she was ready to let go. We
are working to make her as comfortable as possible during her time
left. I am posting this on her facebook page so that those who know
and love her can send her thoughts and prayers for comfort and because
I feel that you deserve to know. Please feel free to comment but DO
NOT try to contact us more directly. Right now we need to focus on
her. Thanks, Jennifer Skutley

Suzi was one of the folks who ventured to Portland for the THing last year.
During our time together, she was a bright light and always very quick with
a joke.
