We're getting Sleepy Hollow here soon!!! I already read a friend's criticism of the realism (she has a Ph.d in Victorian lit :), but she loves the show otherwise, so I'm looking forward to it. Anyway, it premieres in the UK on the Universal channel on 9 October.  (There have been ads for it already.)

We just got the first episode last Friday night. It was so nice to see J. August Richards again, if only for the pilot. :)  Can't wait to see more episodes.

Oh, and here in the UK, SHIELD is on Channel 4 at 8pm on Fridays. At 9pm on Fridays, on BBC3, is Orphan Black. We're only up to the fourth episode. Apparently, it's a BBC America show, and they don't get our licence fee money, so that's why we don't get BBC America shows right away.  I'm rather liking Orphan Black thus far, though. Friday night is turning out to be a good TV night this season.


And I'm happy to see TH active again! :)

Ellen, who already took a sick day yesterday -- the first time in 31 years of teaching I've taken a sick day in September other than for surgery, which happened in 1991. Both of us were hit with a nasty cold/virus thing going around this weekend and I was still too out of it yesterday to go to work. Last year, I took all of two sicks days and didn't get sick until March. I hope getting ill this early isn't a sign of bad things to come. :(
