I was wondering where that rash came fr-
Oh. *Computer* virus. Right. ;-)
On a very slightly related note (based on the whole health malady subject):
This past Friday I returned home to discover that the cat that my husband thought was dying for the past month actually is just really, really constipated. I can feel an elongated, hard mass in the area of the colon, and when he (the cat, not the husband) tries to go, he just squats and strains and howls. It's breaking my heart to see him hurting.
He's gobbled up a couple big globs of Laxatone (or some similar product involving very sticky, very stinky goo that stained my shirt brown) but still no action. I'm taking him in to the vet tomorrow if they will see him on short notice, but are there any suggestions for ways I can make him more comfortable immediately? From all the stuff I looked up online, I need to find a way to soften the mass so he can pass it comfortably. But how do I do that without having to wrestle him while trying to administer a kitty enema and consequently losing a liter of blood (and the wrestling match).
