Old posts... Old lists... Old friends, acquaintances, and ....

Apologies to  all for all the chatter, but another thought occurs:

Being a bit of an archivist, I try to keep everything i get  (emails/ instant messages / letters ./ cards etc.) so i can search and refresh my memory when it fails me. I believe I pretty much have all the posts from the old list from when i was subscribed, but i was wondering if they had been exported / saved somewhere in the transition to Google groups.

Right now I can go back and say "ahhh... Mr. X... they mentioned such and so back then, or were interested in such a thing; or were having a flame war with Mr. Y about the value of z." I know there is no way I could possibly read a missing decade of posts, but might be able to at least skip the highlights.

I'm guessing they are all lost in the void somewhere, but was curious nonetheless.
