More like lack of time - working 3pm-9pm - getting home well after 10pm and
falling asleep takes its toll on net time. It's a shit job, but better than
no money. Paid fund-raiser for charity. Pay is crap, you end up working at
least 12 hours a week that you aren't paid for, not counting the "can you
come in early for more indoctrination^H^H^H^H^H training?" messages that
come in at all hours ("It's 11:30pm, shut the fuck up"). Talking of...
the text I got last night really took the biscuit - basically the manager
was offering us a "deal" - IF we started knocking doors at 13:30 (TWO hours
earlier than normal) and IF the team made a 1.5 average (e.g. six new
signups for a team of four) then we would get ONE extra hour's pay. What a
bargain.

On the plus side, I am actually losing weight - walking 6-8 miles a day,
and I console myself that at least the charity is benefiting. Sure takes
its toll on my time though. Mostly too knackered when I get home to do
anything that quickly scan emails/FB/LJ/G+ and so far, have been catching
up on sleep in the mornings before leaving.

That said, some creativity is happening. I came across the folder where I
documented the activities of Helene Dubois, penguin hunter and was inspired
to start writing some stuff. The sad thing was - I had to search my email
archives to remember Dinsdale's full name! How could I forget that?

Still seeking other employment, so as soon as that happens, I may have more
time.
