Oh yeah. One tree guy I know is Amish. He won't drive the trucks he
owns, but he has no problem running the skid steer or stump grinder or
chipper/shredder...

As for the teachable moment, that's pretty much what we did. Where
are the Amish? All around you. We explained, briefly, that they were
people and not exhibits. Mostly, we tried to get back to work
because we were already losing money at that job.
