Going into friends of friends, I wonder if you might know or know of
Sam'l Bassett. He lived in Hightower with Randall Garrett and his wife,
or thereabouts, and lived with and/or was closely involved with the
people in the "house across the road" commune also, and was deeply
involved with SCA at that period of time. I'm sorry, I don't remember
his SCA name, and I don't think that he does that at all now. We're
current friends, though seldom see each other in the flesh. I don't
travel much at all, and then not as far across the country as San
Francisco, and he's had to quit traveling of the last few years.
