Well, I did once get to see Hillary Swank walk into the building where
I worked like 20 times. They were shooting a horror film where she
was a professor at LSU so of course they had a scene of her walking
into the library.

That's the closest I've come to any kind of celebrity encounters though.



*They've shot a number of TV shows/movies in/around the lobby of my building. The most exciting (to me) was Law & Order (which has happened a number of times). I was out the day Person of Interest was around the corner. Many years ago a friend and I saw Meg Ryan and Matthew Broderick filming Addicted to Love.

And then, well, let's see. I met Seanan McGuire two weeks ago (in the office). I've seen Stephen King (though that was about 18 years ago or so) wandering around. Also Tana French, Jasper Fforde, Nat Philbrick, Kristen Britain. I know there are more. I don't always meet them, but I do often see them.

btw Seanan is really cool and nice.

Oh, and I (very indirectly) work with Anton Strout.
