Re: Portland

Before this particular line of reasoning gets carried away, it's not a GROUP anyone was added to, it's an EVENT which you were INVITED to, wherein  you could answer YES NO OR MAYBE. If you answered MAYBE THEN I FIGURED YOU WERE A MAYBE BUT STILL NEED TO ADD ENOUGH ROOMS TO COVER SOME OF THOSE PEOPLE.

What's the formal title of the page?  Maybe I'd better go there to make sure that I'm not there -- I've never seen it in my list of groups on my "Home", but there are other things where I've never been that don't show in that list, but do add me and have me listed as a member -- One "sub-group" I belong to has a lot of people who are my Friends who are very promiscuous about adding their Friends to new groups -- it's a pain, but they usually mean no harm and want me there.  Since Wrong Planet arrived there as a colony from the Wrong Planet site, there have been a few dozen Aspie groups started that way: I remove myself when one gets to be a pain, and then someone puts me back on.  Aspies are not very socially clued: it's practically a clinical definition of us.  I think FB should require at least your _consent_ to join a group.
