I had originally (early last year) said I would attend, but dropped out at the end of last year (or the beginning of this year) when my husband was ill and all our funds were eaten by medical bills. But in my mind, if someone committed to this after Deb laid out the deal and have since cancelled - they do indeed have an obligation to make good on the room costs. Broke as I am, I would be willing to take part in a collection to make up the shortage since in these economic times, no one has the money to take a hit like this! So I propose that if those who backed out do not make good that we set up some sort of paypal donation site to make Deb whole. I cannot afford the trip, but I can certainly afford a few dollars to help out my 'TH family'.
