Anyway, I signed up as a "yes", while simultaneously stating (both on
list and on the fb thing) that I intended to treat the THing as a
commutercon, while offering to help defray the cost of the suite, and
offering not to go at all if the hotel was mandatory. I booked one night
after seeing Deb's recent message, because I can afford that much.
(This is not in lieu of my offer to help on the suite and such.) I know
that I'm still being a jerk, but I like my bread crusts non-moldy, and
I'm pretty much willing to trample over anyone (not just Deb but also
starving Somalis) for my non-moldy bread crusts, and that's just how it is.
