I know even less about Hockey - you have my vote.
I did attend a local match (we have a junior league in Seattle); I ducked when the puck came flying directly at me; when the guy in the next seat over chastised me for not catching, i pointed at the fresh dent in the seat where it hit.
I could not formulate and adequate response for such a stupid question.
I decided Hockey was not a sport I wished to pursue.
