I've been subbing just about every day, although laryngitis cost me
two days recently. I made it through two days of learning support
because I only had to talk to two or three kids at a time, but my
voice gave out by the end of the day. I decided it would be prudent to
cancel the day of high school English and let my voice rest.
When I'm not subbing, I'm cooking, driving someone somewhere, training
commando penguins, cleaning the damn kitchen, doing laundry, then
collapsing with a crossword puzzle.
I have no life.
