I've been kind of stuck on The Decemberists, Jason Webley, and Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys lately. I get into moods where I only want to listen to two or three different artists/bands. I've been in a mood like that since maybe January, I think! At this moment, though, I'm actually listening to The Black Keys' newest album, El Camino. Oh, and I've also been listening to Julia Nunes' new album, Settle Down, a lot! So maybe not as much of a rut as I was thinking.

8) City of Marrow by S.J. Tucker

My partner (Kelley) and my sister (Ruby) just saw S.J. Tucker back in February. It was actually a house show at the home of Catherynne Valente. I so badly wanted to go but I was on strict bed rest at the time, following a hospitalization in January. *sigh* Maybe next time!
