I like Outnumbered also. Comedian Andy Hamilton (he's been on Have I Got News for You a bit) does a lot of the writing and directing; however, a good bit of the children's scenes are improvised, which makes them seem more realistic. Often when it's just the kids, those scenes are ad libbed. The parents, played by comedian Hugh Dennis (is Mock the Week on any channel in the US?) and actress Claire Skinner, are good also. Hugh Dennis' character is a history teacher and some of the BS he goes through at work is all too real.

Have I Got News for You starts up again tonight. Yay! In times of insane politics, it's shows like this that get me through. BBC America really should air it for you folks; it's great.
