Re: Fantasy/sf TV shows Re: past discussions

Related: Blastr had a short article this noon quoting Joss Whedon
about what would happen if Black Widow and Buffy fought each other.
The conclusion was that Buffy would eventually knock out BW, but that
BW would have poisoned Buffy hours before the fight -- but Buffy'd get
Willow to fix her up.

> So, what are people watching? What's the new big sf/fantasy show? (Yes, we're waiting for new Dr. Who episodes. And I heard an interview with Eve Myles recently where she said that she and Barrowman are both up for new Torchwood episodes.)

I haven't seen the latest season/series of Torchwood yet. I'm hoping
it comes out on DVD soon.

I'm currently watching NCIS and Criminal Minds. That's it. I was
also watching Bones, but apparently they've moved it to Mondays. I
don't know how many weeks I've missed.

I am anxiously waiting for the new series of Doctor Who.

Otherwise, I'm watching old shows on DVD. I finished the original
Battlestar Galactica and Galactica 1980 recently, and am considering
watching the new BSG (I've seen through the beginning of the third
season, and still have managed to avoid being spoiler-free for the end
of the series). I just got the first season of Charmed and
Highlander. I've seen the latter, but only a few episodes of the
former. I also just got the first season of the original Bionic Woman
and am hoping that Region 1 versions of the next few seasons of The
Six Million Dollar Man come out soon.

>Alas, a Game of Thrones didn't do it for me neither. I'm probably the only person on this email list who could take it or leave it.

At this point, you're not alone, but that's only because I haven't
tried it. Haven't read the books, either, though I do have the first
one.
