It's the children who make us realise our true ages.

My niece and two nephews are all in their thirties now. One of them has two children. Another has travelled the world for her job and is far better travelled than I am -- she's now working at a US Embassy in India. It's amazing. :)

Personally, I'm not a Facebook fan. I'm actually only there because of my sister. However, it has enabled me to 'meet' up with former students. One spends most of his time working in China. Another has an MBA and is a lawyer in Hawaii. So many of them have children -- teenage children even.

If it weren't for kids and the fact that I occasionally do look in a mirror, I might be able to forget my age. :)

PS And at least one of them is blind. She asked me how on earth I still looked the same as I did when I taught her in 1990. :)
