**Thanks. I didn't even go into the house before we had another cat. Even then, as I was driving back, part of me expected to see her on the windowsill. But new kitty really is helping. He's still very nervous--scared himself last night when he knocked over things on my dresser--but he purrs at the first touch and I think he'll settle in fairly quickly.
