Okay, this was the last e-mail I got before I cut off my e-mail
connection (which is my real world, the folders in my Thunderbird that
begin to glow when a new post comes through the filters into them). I
fudged, kept my web membership to maintain some connection, but I could
wait to go to the board until I felt ready to be unexpectedly maligned
and misjudged -- and no, bardi, I'm not going to admit to any guilt:
it's just that I was _called_ a troll, not that I was one, in the sense
of the people who just join groups for the purpose of starting fights.
I _hate_ to be labeled something that I'm not, especially with a whole
flock of mislabels like Mal put on me.

I think I'll leave it as it is. I don't really feel at home on web
boards, the way I can on Listservs, a whole 'nuther feel, and easier to
disconnect from.

Thank you, those who are my friends. I'll be seeing you around the web,
in The Mythic Cafe, for example, while I'm lurking and maybe or maybe
not looking at
