a sentient... rag doll?

My dvr has suggested a movie for me called "9". Here's the description
it has for this:

In a post-apocalyptic world, a sentient rag doll convinces its
comrades that they must take the offensive against the machines
that threaten to destroy them.

I am afraid to actually watch this movie. I don't want my eyes to melt.
